Mama's House offers the support, love and nurturing that our residents need as they carry their baby to term. We have a structured environment where each resident is assigned chores and attends classes on a regular basis. They learn how to care for themselves and their new baby as well as practical skills such as how to interview for employment, housing, finances and much more.

Preparing For Being A Mother

Parenting is a huge challenge even for the most prepared mother, but our residents come from situations that only compound that challenge. At Hope Center, we focus on educating and preparing our residents for what lays ahead as they venture out into the world as a new mom. In many cases, they are raising their baby as a single parent. We help them understand the expectations and realizations of what it will be like once they leave Mama's House.

Finances

Finding employment and managing their money is a skill many of our reisdents have never learned. We focus on helping them create a budget and how to stick to it.

Follow Up

We try to keep in touch with our residents once they leave Mama's House by offering continued support and encouragement as they face the world with their new baby.
