About Mama’s House Ministries

Mama’s House Ministries is a Christ-centered, nonprofit maternity home based in Palm Desert, California, serving pregnant women in crisis across Southern California and beyond. Founded in 2013 by Jan Lupia, co-founded by Pat McDonnell and Anne Silverstein, Mama’s House has served more than 900 women and babies, providing safe housing, comprehensive life-skills training, counseling, and a loving community to help women build healthy, independent futures.

In August 2025, Mama’s House expanded to a larger campus capable of housing up to 36 women. This reflects the organization’s growth and its unwavering commitment to serving those who need it most.
