Volunteers are the heartbeat of Mama’s House. Whether you share a skill, a trade, a listening ear, or an afternoon of your time — your presence matters more than you know. From tutoring and mentoring to special events and campus support, there are meaningful ways to serve at every level.

How to Volunteer
If you have a heart for mothers and the courage to help turn their lives around, we need you. Volunteers at Mama's House make a lasting impact by contributing their time to help women and babies rebuild on a strong foundation for lasting change.
Volunteers share their time at their convenience, whatever their life allows them to contribute. We have an ongoing need for childcare support as residents attend appointments and continue working toward their goals.
We welcome volunteers in the following areas:
Mentorship: A mentor meets with a resident once a week for an hour to provide spiritual and nurturing guidance, with Christ as the foundation.
Earn & Learn Facilitator: Meet with a resident to facilitate a required study program covering pregnancy, parenting, life skills, and other critical topics. This includes watching a DVD associated with each lesson and reviewing discussion questions to deepen understanding. As residents learn, they earn mommy points to purchase items from the baby boutique.
Childcare Assistance: Provide loving care for an infant or toddler while a resident attends school, works toward graduation, or takes time for self-care.
Tutoring: Support residents with GED preparation or other academic subjects.
Special Events: Help plan, set up, and run fundraising events, donation drives, or holiday celebrations.
Administrative Support: Assist with office tasks such as data entry, filing, mailings, and phones during busy periods.
Drivers: Transport residents to appointments.
Teach a Class: Have a skill or area of expertise that could benefit our residents? Apply your talents and create lasting change in the lives of women and children at Mama's House.
Arts & Crafts: Do you have a talent for beading, jewelry making, sewing, watercolor painting, wreath making, or other creative arts? We are actively seeking volunteers who can bring fun and creativity to our residents.
All volunteers must undergo a background check and complete a brief orientation session.
